Anambra 2017: Ifeanyi Ubah dissociates self from campaign posters

The Managing Director, Capital Oil and Gas, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, Monday, dissociated himself from campaign posters which have flooded parts of Anambra State, stating that he was contesting the 2017 governorship election in the state.

Ubah, in a statement personally signed by him, urged those behind the posters not to heat up the polity in the state. The statement read: “My attention has been drawn to posters tagged “Restoration 2017” with my picture and the inscription “Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah for Governor 2017” powered by Concerned Anambra Professionals. “I wish to categorically disassociate myself from these posters, the message and the association responsible for this unauthorised act. “Let us desist from trying to heat up the polity in Anambra State and allow H.E. Chief Willie Obiano to govern our state to the best of his ability without distraction. “Anambra state belongs to us all and its progress is paramount. We must always put the overall interest of our state above personal desires and aspirations. “God bless Anambra State. God bless Nigeria.”
