The creation of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs and by extension the formation of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) was a recognition of the oppression, depression and agitation occasioned by the Niger Deltans due to invasion and dispossession of our inheritance (oil exploration and exploitation) in our locations and our oil blocs auctioned through desperation while we faced political exclusion and recession despite our situations without consideration and provisions envisioned by federation to the Goose that laid the golden eggs to the nation.
Hence, suggestions by Nigerians influenced the sensational man with the sixth sense, Umaru Musa Yar Adua's dispensation whose blessed memory is worthy of emulation and admiration without implications optioned this Ministry. As if that was not enough, out of premonition of intentional distraction of his administration, he subsequently conditioned Presidential amnesty with concession and reparations to the aggrieved yet recalcitrant armed Militia in the tension region whose vexatious transgression mission without purposeful direction and this caused stupefaction with escalation and exasperation resulted to environmental degradation through vandalization as an indication of anger ventilation without cooperation but altercation which the Urchins accepted with gratification, however, I have an objection to this because the old cliché has it that 'kindness begets kindness and two wrongs can't make a right.'
For this Ministry to achieve its creation standardization from the inception, then, there is need for relocation of this federal ministry from its present location FCT to the intended and premeditated position which is the legion region for propinquity, accessibility and reliability in its operations. Again, how has this intercession ministry So far cushioned the unemployment that has fractioned this region, what is the estimation of staff and how many of the staff is from the endowed yet depression region?
Is there any legal and moral justification for non Niger Deltans to be featured in the nomination in accordance with the President's recommendations and by confirmation of the National Assembly during their session as a Minister, Permanent Secretary and Director as the Case may be in this variation Ministry even though this is not a motion that requires deliberation?
However, if there was to be a relocation of this ministry from the FCT to the suppression region, which State will hosts this complex Ministry in consideration to the expectations from the region filled with confusion and should form the political calculation for siting it in a particular location that will be devoid of political exclusion and provocation?
Caution should be taken in what ever information that may inform your decision and reaction to avoid unnecessary allegations, condemnation and repercussions to advert repetitions of cruises. Without elimination, the realization or actualization of this novel dogma may bring about crave for decentralization of Institutions in the Federation which can serve as an introduction to decongestion and may as well proffer solutions to peace restoration and illumination of the frictioned nation.
Although, Yar'Adua is dead and long been buried, his reputation and respectability will always receive encomium and his soul finds satisfaction and appreciation even in grave. This devotional presentation is an innovation geared towards progression but requires action and the exposition needs no application for it to function as a contribution to the even distribution of government amenities for better political perfection, equation, promotion of cohesion and for eradication of pipelines destruction in the federation.
